From the very beginning, STEMME implemented new technologies, thus opening new markets in the field of aviation. For those in the business it is clear that this is a long way to go – something of which STEMME is now aware, too.

A core staff of over 50 specialists works world-wide in all areas from market research, to development, production, final assembly, quality control and services. Sales representatives and agencies are situated all over the “sports-flying” world, from which customers can benefit.

The first product, the S10, is now recognized as the ultimate motor glider, more than 200 of which are now flying around the world.

The crowning achievement was the world record for cross country soaring in 2000. With a STEMME S10, Klaus Ohlmann flew a distance of 2,463 km in about 14 hours in the updraft of the Andes in South America.

STEMME is developing and applying technologies to produce challenging high-end products for sophisticated pilots. In addition, STEMME will launch a campaign to promote a new generation of mid-class airplanes, enabling even more STEMME-fans to fly STEMME aircraft.
